Bear`s Den Pub in Banff

The mediocre staff was polite. This was the only highlight. There must have been a black hole sucking in all the flavor in the kitchen as I've never experienced a meal so devoid of flavor. This is the only possible scientific reasoning for the impossibly bland food. Not even the weather was good.

Had an excellent experience. Chill laid back atmosphere drinks and pizza were good staff very friendly.

Good burger and onions rings can do take out or eat in kids allowed until 10pm

They give you frozen burger patties and flat beer. Horrible experience.

Wish I could give a lesser review. My SO and I ordered dinner during our stay at Inns of Banff. Waited half an hour for food to arrive. His, not mine. They said it would be just a couple of minutes. 15 minutes later they said it was almost ready (first update, I had to go to the bar to ask where my food was). We paid the bill and left without seeing my dinner arrive. First time I haven't left a tip in my life.

Save your dimes and buy a beer for nickel here. Why take a cab when the pints are chilly and the atmosphere friendly, the bus is free and across the street. Always accommodating and just what the doctor ordered.

The restaurant was busy-ish but no where near full, yet we had to wait 50 minutes for our food to be brought out. Three of us ordered soup which came cold and two with only a half serving of bread. No one even apologised or offered to rectify.Our waitress was also too frazzled to give proper service and huffed when we requested to know the daily soup and chef special.

This pub is the best! The GM let us smoke cigars and drink all the old bottles of liqueur! Last night it’s open - too bad you missed it!
